TRILUX starts education offensive
Arnsberg, 09 September 2011 – Starting in September, luminaire manufacturer TRILUX established a milestone in the continuing education of its employees and market partners: with a dialogue and practice-oriented seminar concept, the light expert is offering innovative consulting, qualification and information portfolios for professionals under the roof of the TRILUX Akademie. As part of the Grand Opening celebration at the Arnsberg site, representatives from business and politics could gain a first impression of the facilities with modern equipment and the comprehensive training portfolio as well as the tough requirements the company is setting for its own academy.
Rapid developments and revolutionary technologies constantly pose new challenges to the light industry. Whoever wants to participate in the future design of light will have to actively deal with these changes. With the TRILUX Akademie, a state-of-the-art continuing education centre is at the starting line that focuses on dialogue, practice-orientation and diversity of methods. "The TRILUX Akademie is fulfilling the market demand for current information and qualification offers," explains Dietmar Zembrot, Managing Director at TRILUX. "The investment of approx. 1 million Euros into building out the academy is proof of the high quality expectation we also have for our continuing education portfolio."
More than just light
The diverse seminar portfolio is among others geared towards light and electric planners, architects, installers and facility managers. The topics are suited to all professional needs: from light planning through the handling of new technologies such as LED to illumination concepts for specific application situations, e.g. in healthcare. For this, communicating knowledge through dialogue and exchange is the philosophy. That is why the academy also considers itself an ideal platform for networking.
Quality education at state-of-the-art level
Interaction and diversity of methods were at the forefront in the design of the seminar concept: in as small as possible groups of attendees, in particular the exchange amongst the attendees and the experienced speakers is promoted. At the newly created facilities, equipped based on the latest insights into didactics and methodology, workshop units allow for the practical application of the theory learned.The speakers at the TRILUX Akademie, all experts in their field, can look back on many years of professional experience. This assures application-oriented training: where in the award of contracts there may be traps to watch out for is covered just as well as basic knowledge regarding LED to be able to comprehensively answer customer questions.
